The Iloilo Tax Congress 2025, held on May 30 at The Grid, Iloilo City, marked the third successful installment of this fast-growing initiative by PCCI Iloilo since it first kicked off in May 2024. Co-presented by PwC Philippines and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP) Iloilo, the congress once again brought together over 100 professionals—ranging from business leaders and entrepreneurs to financial experts and government partners—for an insightful half-day deep dive into tax and finance trends that shape enterprise strategies.

The event’s central theme, “Empowering Business Decisions with Numbers That Matter,” reflected the urgent need for businesses to make sound choices amid an evolving economic and regulatory landscape. With timely and practical topics presented by industry experts from PwC, the sessions offered a blend of analytical tools, fiscal updates, and policy discussions.

In his welcome remarks, PCCI Iloilo President Fulbert Woo acknowledged the strong partnership with PwC Philippines, led by Osmond Rubinos, and ACPAPP Iloilo, with whom the chamber continues to strengthen professional networks and capacity-building efforts. He also commended Event Chair May Joyce Galanto for stewarding the successful run of this year’s edition.
