In celebration of its 10th Charter Anniversary, Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) held the InnoScale: Technology Commercialization and Promotion Mentorship Series (TCPMS) on May 5–6, 2025, at the HRT Service Center, La Paz Campus.

The two-day event gathered faculty researchers, innovators, and technology advocates to equip them with tools to promote and commercialize their protected technologies. One of the key sessions featured PCCI Iloilo Corporate Secretary Mr. Francis Gerona, who served as a Resource Speaker on the second day of the program.

Engr. Gerona shared his expertise on “How to Create a Pitch Deck, How to Pitch, and the Creation of Promotional Materials,” providing practical strategies for effectively communicating innovations to potential partners, investors, and stakeholders. Drawing from his experience in business development and communication, his session highlighted the importance of crafting compelling narratives behind technology solutions.

Participants engaged in hands-on learning and interactive discussions, gaining clearer direction on how to position their projects in the commercialization pipeline. The session was well-received, marking a successful collaboration between the university and the business sector in advancing innovation and enterprise.
