The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Iloilo Chapter, Inc. (PCCI Iloilo) proudly clinched the Startup Champion (Private Sector) award for the second consecutive year, 2024 and 2025, solidifying its position as a leading driver of innovation and entrepreneurship in Western Visayas.

The award was formally received by PCCI Iloilo President Engr. Fulbert C. Woo during the Innovation Awards Ceremony held on September 20, 2025, at Festive Walk Mall, Iloilo City.

“This back-to-back recognition truly embodies this year’s theme, Shaping a Vibrant Future for the Region’s Startup Ecosystem,” the awarding body highlighted. “We celebrate PCCI Iloilo’s dedication, innovation, and impact that have inspired growth and collaboration across the region.”

The Startup Champion in the Private Sector Award is conferred on business or private organizations that have demonstrated an outstanding role in empowering startups and contributing to the growth of the regional ecosystem. Through its flagship INSYNC Program and other initiatives, PCCI Iloilo has continuously fostered mentorship, advocated startup-friendly policies, and created opportunities for collaboration between industry, government, and academe.

This back-to-back victory at the Western Visayas Startup Awards not only affirms PCCI Iloilo’s dedication to startups but also underscores its broader mission of shaping a vibrant and inclusive economic future for the Ilonggo community and beyond.
