In a landmark move that reaffirms its role as a regional leader in championing inclusive and innovative business growth, PCCI Iloilo signed eight (8) sisterhood agreements with fellow chambers from across the Philippines during its 2nd Quarter General Membership Meeting held on May 22, 2025, at Hotel del Rio.
The ceremony marks a historic milestone for the chamber as it brings together business leaders from Southern Luzon and Visayas under a unified commitment to build stronger, more connected local economies. This initiative supports PCCI Iloilo’s core thrust: inspiring investments through inclusivity and innovation.
The sister chambers include:

- Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Atty. Juliana B. Carbon, President

These partnerships are rooted in shared values of innovation, regional cooperation, and MSME empowerment. Each Memorandum of Understanding signed reflects the intent to collaborate on business missions, trade opportunities, policy advocacy, capacity-building programs, and joint development projects that strengthen local economies.
“We are proud to welcome these eight distinguished chambers as our sisters in progress,” said PCCI Iloilo President Fulbert Woo. “PCCI Iloilo continues to be the voice of Ilonggo business. These partnerships are our way of echoing that voice across the country—unified, empowered, and driven by shared purpose.”
Through these sisterhood agreements, PCCI Iloilo reaffirms its dedication to embody that voice in Iloilo and Western Visayas, pushing for a business environment that is inclusive, forward-looking, and responsive to the needs of its stakeholders.
AVP Melanie Ng noted that it was the largest local chamber General Membership Meeting to date that involved multiple chambers from across the country.
The Q2 General Membership Meeting served not only as a formal signing ceremony but also as a symbol of strengthened unity within the private sector. As PCCI Iloilo continues to expand its network and influence, it remains committed to being a key driver of regional growth and national development. Present to witness this milestone are PCCI Visayas AVP Melanie Ng, Western Visayas Regional Governor Atty. Jobert A. Peñaflorida,, Eastern Visayas Regional Governor Ms. Stephanie “Twinkle” Chu, and Bicol Regional Governor Mr. Hoover Picar.
In forging these eight sisterhoods, PCCI Iloilo champions the power of collaboration—bridging regions, amplifying voices, and building a stronger, more inclusive business community for the future.
These eight chambers add to the growing list of PCCI Iloilo’s sister chambers, following the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which signed a sisterhood agreement in 2024.
