PCCI Iloilo President Engr. Fulbert C. Woo has been elected as the Private Sector Representative to the Board of Regents (BOR) of the Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) for a two-year term, spanning 2024 to 2026. The election was formalized through BOR Resolution No. 115-2024 during the Board meeting on November 22, 2024.

Engr. Woo’s appointment highlights the university’s commitment to fostering partnerships with the private sector. His expertise and leadership are expected to contribute significantly to ISAT-U’s mission of advancing science and technology education and achieving its vision of becoming a leading university in this field by 2030.

During a meeting on November 27, 2024, at the ISAT-U Main Campus, ISAT-U SUC President Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre Jr., together with Board Secretary Mergie Gasataya, handed the letter of appointment to Engr. Woo.

PCCI Iloilo congratulates Engr. Woo on this significant milestone and supports his efforts to strengthen collaboration between the academic and business sectors for the betterment of ISAT-U’s students and faculty.
