The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Iloilo Chapter, Inc. (PCCI Iloilo) successfully held its 3rd Quarter General Membership Meeting on September 1, 2025 at Eon Centennial Resort Hotel, gathering business leaders, partners, and stakeholders to celebrate collaboration, innovation, and growth.
PCCI Iloilo Parol: A Continuing Tradition of Hope
In his Welcome Message, Chairman Felix H. Tiu highlighted the chamber’s strengthened collaboration with its members and partners, noting that PCCI Iloilo continues to reach new heights. He also presented the new design of the PCCI Iloilo Parol, which will once again light up the streets of Iloilo City during the holiday season.
Keynote and Corporate Presentations
The keynote address was delivered by TESDA Region VI Regional Director Toni June A. Tamayo, who shared various TESDA programs and services and explored opportunities for collaboration with PCCI Iloilo in upskilling the workforce and supporting industry needs.
Members also gained insights from featured corporate presentations. Ms. Carla Perez of Megaworld Iloilo Business Park introduced the International Corporate Plaza, while Mr. Jerik Fernandez presented Firenze and other residential projects that contribute to Iloilo’s booming real estate landscape. Meanwhile, Mr. Niño Nanquil of DITO Business showcased their latest technologies and network expansion, emphasizing how their services can empower a thriving business ecosystem in Iloilo.
Strengthening Membership and Leadership
The meeting also marked the induction of 13 new members from the real estate, construction, utilities, retail, and wellness sectors. The new members were presented by Corporate Secretary Francis Gerona, charged by President Engr. Fulbert C. Woo, and formally inducted by Chairman Felix H. Tiu.
Corporate Secretary Gerona likewise announced a Board Resolution endorsing President Fulbert C. Woo as Regional Governor of PCCI Western Visayas, with the official nomination made by PCCI Antique President Rani Rodriguez, who was present during the event.
President’s Report and Upcoming Milestones
In his President’s Report, Engr. Fulbert C. Woo highlighted the impact of significant programs launched by PCCI Iloilo from June 2025 onwards, underscoring how partnerships and collaborations have amplified the chamber’s reach and influence. He also announced two major upcoming initiatives: the PCCI Iloilo Parol project for the holidays and the grand celebration of PCCI Iloilo’s 120th Anniversary in December 2025.
President Woo further encouraged members to actively participate in the 51st Philippine Business Conference (PBC)this October 2025, where PCCI Iloilo’s voice and contributions will resonate on the national stage.
The Q3 2025 GMM reaffirmed PCCI Iloilo’s role as a dynamic catalyst for growth and innovation in the business community. With stronger collaborations, meaningful programs, and visionary leadership, the chamber is well-positioned to continue lighting the way for Iloilo’s economic progress.
