The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Iloilo Chapter, Inc. (PCCI Iloilo) proudly received the Best Local Chamber in Tourism Advocacy Award 2025 during the 51st Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E) held on October 20, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

The award was received by PCCI Iloilo President Engr. Fulbert C. Woo, with the plaque presented by Vice President Sara Z. Duterte, PCCI National President Consul Enunina Mangio, PBC&E Chairman Dennis Uy, and Dr. Sammie Lim, LCCI Tourism Awards Chairman.

This year’s recognition highlights PCCI Iloilo’s entry featuring its reimagined DSTN by ILOBEX program and its co-presentation of the Iloilo Paraw Regatta Festival 2025, both of which underscore the Chamber’s dedication to promoting tourism, culture, and innovation as catalysts for inclusive local growth.

The Best LCCI Tourism Advocacy Award aims to encourage Local Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCIs) nationwide to take an active role in the tourism sector—one of the key industries that continues to propel local economies. The program underscores the value of chamber engagement in tourism-related initiatives, which help strengthen membership among hotels, resorts, restaurants, travel agencies, tour operators, and other allied establishments. Through collective tourism advocacy, the PCCI network continues to serve as a unified voice of the Philippine tourism industry.

PCCI Iloilo extends its deepest appreciation to its partners—the Iloilo City Government, Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc., the Iloilo MICE Alliance and its members, and the entire Ilonggo community—whose strong collaboration and support made this recognition possible.

Notably, this marks a back-to-back win for PCCI Iloilo, having also received the same award in 2024, reaffirming its continued leadership in championing tourism advocacy and creative enterprise for Western Visayas and beyond.
